Installation
Prepare the compartment: Secure the base and retain access to the drain, connections and electronics. Keep return air clear and distribute heating outlets.
Mount the combustion terminal: Use the terminal and pipes for the supplied variant. Observe the TOP orientation and intake/exhaust connections. Check every clamp and seal before closing the compartment.
Connect domestic water: Connect cold inlet and hot outlet without placing mechanical strain on fittings. Fit the safety valve, drain and downward outdoor discharge. Fill with a hot-water tap open until air is expelled.
Connect energy sources: Diesel/gasoline require the matching fuel circuit and pump. Propane requires a regulator and line matching the nameplate, with leak testing by a competent installer. Mains voltage, grounding and protection must match the delivered version.
Commission: Test air, water and combined modes, then test each available energy source separately. Check hot outlets, water-system leaks and drainage. Never activate electric elements with an empty tank.
Operation & Maintenance
| Operation | Fill domestic water: Close the drain, open a hot-water tap and run the water pump until flow is continuous and air-free. Check fittings. Never activate water heating or electric elements with an empty tank. |
|---|---|
| Operation | Select a mode: Use air-only, water-only or combined operation only if supported by the version’s controller. Select diesel, gasoline, propane, mains or mixed energy according to the SKU nameplate. Do not transfer Truma CP plus menus to AT1192. |
| Operation | Mains and propane: Confirm the 120 V version and protective devices before connection. Current or power ratings from a 230 V version do not establish 120 V ratings. Have a competent installer check propane regulation, pressure and leaks. |
| Operation | Winter storage: Stop heat sources, allow cooling, turn off the water pump and drain the tank and pipes completely as installed. Open taps to admit air and check low points for retained water. Switching the heater off alone does not protect against freezing. |
| Maintenance | Before use, check power, fuel, ducts and leaks. After moving, inspect mounts and fittings. Before the season, perform a supervised test and inspect the circuit. Allow the shutdown cycle and cooling to finish before maintenance. Follow the variant’s manual for dismantling and intervals. |
